reasonable beauty: the hair

When it comes to my hair, I like to try everything and anything. You might remember that in my hair care series that I filmed a year ago, I mentioned all the products I was loving at the time. My routine back then was pretty spectacular with pre shampoo treatments and leave in conditioners. While I still love the products and do the whole routine once in a while, I sometimes crave a simple and more natural routine. Here’s what made the cut:First off, I start with shampoo & conditioner. I am currently loving the Shielo volumizing range as it leaves my hair super clean without stripping it. It gets rid of any styling product build up and makes my hair feel thicker and healthier. These products are paraben free and not tested on animals which makes them the perfect ‘everyday’ products. If my hair is feeling a bit dry on the ends, I turn to my Phytodess crème précieuse. This mask is in fact an intensive restoring cream that is meant to be used once a week for six weeks and that’s it. I apply it from my ears down to my ends and leave it on for as long as I can (usually around 10 to 15 minutes). Believe me or not, this is silky smooth hair in a jar. My hair feels more nourished than ever after I use it without being weighted down.As far as everyday styling goes, I always reach for either my John Masters organic sea mist to create beachy waves or apply a bit of the Shielo bounce style cream to my ends to give them a little boost.

Have you ever tried more natural hair products? If so, I would love to hear about your experience!
