Yesterday was one of those days that you wish would never end. It was the ‘journée sans voitures’ over here in Brussels which means that driving a car was forbidden for the whole day. We have a ton of things on our plate at the moment, and the idea of being stuck at home for a whole day wasn’t very appealing at first. But, it turns out that we had a wonderful & productive day. We woke up pretty late (pretty late means 9AM for us early birds), made protein pancakes while listening to the pouring rain and finally watched Romeo + Juliet on Netflix (yay for Netflix in Belgium!), a movie that I’ve been wanting to see for months now. The afternoon was surprisingly sunny, so we headed outdoors to film a new style video (it will be up on Wednesday, make sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel here to see it first!) and shoot some outfits posts. While I would love to shoot outfit posts everyday, it’s not really something doable most of the time. Renaud and I have very different work schedules and, to be honest, I don’t really want to annoy him when he gets back from a long day at work. Which means that the weekends are now dedicated to shooting outfit posts! But, don’t worry, these outfits are all looks that I normally wear and not something that I put together only for the blog.
Enough rambling here, it’s time to talk a bit more about this outfit. First of all, this scarf that you have seen in many, many outfit posts is still one of my favorites. I got it in Copenhagen in 2011 and I still can’t get over it. The print is fun yet wearable while the texture is positively dreamy. A new addition to my wardrobe is this tshirt from American Eagle. I am a big fan of their jeggings but this tshirt was a great discovery as well. It’s made of the softest material, has a beautiful round neckline and is long enough to cover the top of my jeans (which I love). I paired it with my beloved All Saints skinny jeans and my pair of Acne pistol boots that I simply cannot live without. Easy does it, Sunday comfort at its best!
